ABOUT
I participated in the Immerse Education Summer Program, an intensive academic experience focused on engineering and applied sciences. The program ran for approximately 2 weeks and involved structured daily schedules of around 6–7 hours of academic instruction, workshops, and collaborative activities, totalling 80+ hours of immersive learning.
The cohort consisted of nearly 40–50 students from different countries, creating a highly collaborative and global learning environment. I took part in 10+ technical workshops and lectures, covering topics such as mechanical design, problem-solving methods, and applied physics.
Through the program, I completed 3–4 engineering-focused projects, including design challenges and short research-based tasks, which strengthened my analytical thinking and teamwork skills. I also participated in multiple discussion sessions and peer reviews, improving my ability to present technical ideas clearly.
Being part of this program exposed me to university-style teaching and helped me build skills in time management, independent learning, and technical communication. Overall, the experience significantly strengthened my confidence in pursuing engineering as a career.
