AUTOMOTIVE CLUB - PRESIDENT

ABOUT

As President of the Automotive Club, I led a team of 45 students with a shared interest in automobiles, engines, and mechanical systems. Over the academic year, I organised and conducted approximately 15–18 meetings and workshops, covering topics such as engine fundamentals, vehicle dynamics, transmissions, braking systems, and automotive design.
I coordinated a core leadership team of 7–9 members and led the execution of 8+ major events, including technical workshops, teardown sessions, guest talks, and hands-on demonstrations. Participation increased by nearly 45%, with consistent growth in attendance and engagement.
Under my leadership, the club completed 4–5 group technical projects, such as model engine builds, suspension system simulations, and vehicle diagnostics exercises. Members also participated in discussions on electric vehicles and emerging automotive technologies.
I was responsible for scheduling sessions, managing communications, coordinating resources, and ensuring that activities ran smoothly. Through this role, I impacted over 50 students directly and helped build a community of learners passionate about automotive engineering.
