ABOUT
As Captain of the Shooting Team, I led a group of 12–15 shooters through structured training and performance evaluations. Instead of external tournaments, the team conducted regular internal assessment matches to track skill development and performance.
Across the season, I organised approximately 10–12 assessment matches, each involving 8–15 team members, to evaluate accuracy, consistency, and improvement. In addition, the team trained 3 sessions per week, each lasting 1.5–2 hours, totalling over 120+ hours of practice.
I was responsible for coordinating match schedules, supervising warm-ups, maintaining safety standards, and recording performance data after each match. Based on results, I worked with teammates to identify areas for improvement and adjust training focus accordingly.
Under this system of continuous evaluation, team-wide performance improved by around 30%, with measurable increases in consistency and shot grouping over time.
This role strengthened my leadership, responsibility, data tracking, and decision-making skills while directly guiding the development of 15 athletes.
