I served as an Organizer for STEM Day, where I helped plan and execute a full-day event designed to spark interest in science and engineering through hands-on learning. The event reached approximately 200+ attendees across different age groups.
I coordinated a team of 20+ volunteers and helped manage 6–8 activity stations, including aeromodelling, robotics, science experiments, and interactive demos. I also assisted with audience management, scheduling, logistics, and resource distribution to ensure smooth execution throughout the day.
STEM Day featured 2 major guest speaker sessions—one by a rocket engineering team and another by a material scientist. Each session lasted 45–60 minutes and engaged over 150 participants.
Across the event, more than 100+ participants actively took part in building and flying model planes, programming robots, or conducting experiments. Feedback collected afterward showed very high engagement and interest among attendees.
Organising this event strengthened my planning, teamwork, and leadership skills. More importantly, it helped me deliver hands-on STEM exposure to a large audience in a meaningful and memorable way.
